Children's Art Classes
I kindly request that you only sign up for this class if we have previously communicated about it and I have added your name to the roster. This is a recurring subscription, as the lessons take place on a weekly basis.
Policy
Booking and Attendance:
1. Reservations: Advance booking is essential for all classes due to limited spots.
2. Arrival Time: In-Person Sessions: Please be present 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the session. The sessions commence at 11 o'clock in the morning, every Saturday.
Cancellation, Rescheduling, and Refunds:
1. Notice Period: Inform us at least 48 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your attendance.
2. Rescheduling: We understand that occasionally something may come up that prevents you from attending class as scheduled. Please let us know ahead of time if you need to reschedule, and we will be happy to sign your child up for the next available class. We aim to be flexible and accommodating when possible. However, if a student misses multiple classes without notifying us, we may not be able to reschedule due to limited availability. Our goal is to provide a consistent learning experience, so we appreciate advance notice when a schedule change is necessary.
3. No-Show Policy: Failure to attend without notice or with less than 48 hours' notice will result in forfeiture of your booking.
4. Refunds: Please note that refunds for bookings will only be granted if the student is rescheduled for another class session in advance. Refunds cannot be provided for students who were present at the scheduled class.
Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select. (Billing date for the art classes is set to be taken every Saturday).
Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries unless you choose to pay in advance.
Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription you can cancel it.
If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.
During the Class:
1. Dress Code: Wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting paint on. We provide aprons, but complete paint protection is not guaranteed.
2. Behaviour: We expect respectful and considerate behaviour towards fellow participants and instructors.
3. Class Pace: Our sessions are relaxed and enjoyable. Feel free to work at your own pace, focusing on the process rather than perfection but the class overall will be jogged along with guided instructions. Printed instructions are also provided to allow self pacing.
4. We cannot provide art supplies like paint or brushes for you to finish projects at home. However, if a number of students were unable to complete their artworks during the allotted class time, the instructors may schedule an additional session. This would allow students more time to work on and complete their pieces in class. The decision to hold an extra session depends on how many students need more time. While unfinished works may stay at the facility, finished pieces can always be taken home after class.
5. Time Constraints - While we allow for a little extra time, we must adhere to our venue's schedule, so we can't extend the session indefinitely. Sessions cannot extend past 2 hours. We respectfully request that you please arrive promptly at 1 o'clock in the afternoon each Saturday to collect your child.
Materials and Equipment:
1. In-Person Sessions: All necessary materials are provided.
